Book Fair (書展)

The Book Fair is held 7 days this year...I don't know why it has to be held longer... Unlike last year, I went to Book Fair in the morning, instead of afternoon. It's because going in the morning is cheaper than in the afternoon this year. On the day before I went to the Book Fair, the news said that there is new arrangement for the entrance. The person in charge had explained that the entry ticket booth is located in a exhibition hall so that people need not to queue under the hot sun. However, when I entered the exhibition hall on 19 July, I still could see people queuing under the hot sun.

今年書展舉行七天...不知道為什麼...今年我上午去, 不像上年下午去, 因為今年上午去比下午去便宜。我去書展前一天, 聽新聞講今年書展有新安排, 書展負責人說為了避免去參觀的人在太陽暴曬下排隊, 售票處設在會議廳; 可是我７月１９日入場時, 看到有很多人依然要在太陽暴曬下排隊。


There are more halls for Book Fair than last year, but I only visited three for them. I had visited Hall 1 , 2 and Grand Hall. Actually, I did not plan to visit Grand Hall. My original plan is to Hall 1,2 and 7, but I had to passed through Grand Hall from Hall 1 in order to get to Hall 2. After I visited Hall 1 , 2 and Grand Hall, I don't have the time to go to Hall 7 as I had met someone in the afternoon and I was hungry at that time (about 1pm). Therefore, I decided not to visit Hall 7. I did not regret about that as what I wanted to see in Hall 7 was stationaries. I would like to see if I had any stationary to buy.

今年比上年開多了展覽廳, 但我只參觀了展覽廳1,2和大會堂。其實我沒想過去大會堂, 本來想參觀展覽廳1,2和7, 但我從展覽廳1到2要經過大會堂, 所以順便參觀了。參觀了展覽廳1,2和大會堂後都沒時間去展覽廳7, 一來我下午有約, 二來當時我很餓 (當時已是1點), 唯有放棄參觀展覽廳7。我沒有後悔沒參觀展覽廳7因為我參觀展覽廳7的目的是看有沒有需要的文具買。

Many novels were sold in Hall 1. I saw some novels/books with weird title such as "Bad woman has happiness" and "Special Skills to become handsome man". Comics were also sold in there, yet I was not interested in any of them. I had visited a stall which sold Art related books in English. They were very expensive. I stayed there for a while to find a book which my course leader recommended to me in May but in vain. Grand Hall had some stalls which sold Art related books in Simplified Chinese edition. Nevertheless, I did not buy anything in that Hall. I could find something to buy when I reached Hall 2. I bought two pictorial reference books in Elm Bookshop and Cite Bookshop respectively. This two books are used for Light Pair Animation.

展覽廳1有很多小說賣, 我看到有些奇怪的小說像<<壞女人才得到幸福>>和<<變成型男必殺技>>。漫畫都有賣, 但沒有我想要買的。我有參觀一個有賣美術書的攤位。那裡的書很貴。我在那裡順便找找我的老師介紹的書, 不過找不到。大會堂都有一些攤位賣簡體版的美術書, 不過我在那裡沒買任何書。我最後在展覽廳2的城邦和榆林書局攤位買了兩本圖鑑。這兩本圖鑑是為了Light Pair 動畫而買。我會在之後的Light Pair網誌寫寫這兩本圖鑑的用途。
