Light Pair Blog Vol 10~ Referred animation for planning storyboard(Light Pair網誌第十回~ 計劃分鏡表的參考動畫)
The animation I make this time is 5 mins, my storyboard plan has to plan carefully. (Previously, the longest animation I made was 2 mins.) Hence, I watched an 10 mins anime for my reference of planning storyboard. The anime I chose to study was Keroro Gunzo Ep 156 part 1: Combine! Keroro Robot. The reason is the plot was similar to my animation (the "similar" means the genre, not the storyline). The study I made is in the following:
starting at 1:28 (after the opening sequence)~ Keroro team custom robots appear and subtitle appear.
2:28 to 3:28~ Dororo's reaction on the robots, after he disappears, Viper (the villain) contacts the team
3:29 to 4:28~ Viper wants to have a duel with the team and told them the venue. Then Keroro reacts on the challenge from Viper
4:29 to 6:28~ Robots Launch Sequence
6:28 to 6:55~ Keroro team vs Viper
6:55 to 7:28~ Viper becomes giant and counterattack
7:28 to 8:02~ Keroro team defeated, Keroro is in danger (climax)
8:03 to 8:28~ Dororo appears to save Keroro, then asks Viper to retreat
8:28 to 8:34~ Dororo is reluntant to pilot robot
8:35 to 8:46~ Dororo robot arrives and is ready to fight
8:47 to 9:17~ Dororo vs Viper
9:18 to 9:37~ Dororo gives Viper final attack
9:39 to 10:10~ Kerobine Sequence
10:11 to 10:28~ Robot combination problem
10:29 to 10:40~ the combination collapses
10:40 to 10:48~ Viper's retreat
10:49 to 11:10~ Dororo's disappointment and anger to Keroro
According to this reference, I can plan my storyboard like this:
0:00 to 0:05~ title screen
0:05 to 1:05~ Hikaru (F) is attending lesson in the class; classroom transformation;
1:05 to 2:05~ Sette de Vinte launches;
2:05 to 3:05~ meet Methane;
3:05 to 4:05~ Plutino vs Sette de Vinte
4:05 to 5:00~ Plutino retreats and end
or like this (3 mins version)
0:00 to 0:05~ title screen
0:05 to 1:05~ Hikaru (F) is attending lesson in the class; classroom transformation; Sette de Vinte launches;
1:05 to 2:05~ Meet Methane; Plutino vs Sette de Vinte
2:05 to 3:05~ Plutino vs Sette de Vinte; end
